This is Jen’s tenth year with the club and 7th year as the club’s Administrative Coordinator & (select) Teams Parent Manager. Having managed her daughters team 14U through to 18U, casual conversations with Thien regarding the club led to, “Let me fix your website,” and she’s still here today making his volleyball life both organized and miserable. You can catch her snapping photos and uploading to the IG account but you’ll never see her in front of the camera.

Kat is no stranger to the Thundercats community. She has been with Thundercats for multiple years having had two athletes in our rep program.  Parent manager and scorekeeper extraordinare, she is bringing her expertise to the Admin team.

Favourite Taylor Swift lyric:

“There goes the last great American dynasty”
“Who knows if she never showed up, what could’ve been”
“There goes the maddest woman this town has ever seen”
“She had a marvelous time ruinin’ everything

Taylor Swift song that reminds us of her: Bejeweled

Fave lyrics:
“Best believe I’m still bejeweledWhen I walk in the roomI can still make the whole place shimmer”

My background and knowledge comes from being involved in every sport from Track to Spikeball, but competitive swimming and competing at the Olympic time trials is the reason for my passion as a coach. From the inception of the Thundercats I have been head coach for the U12, U13, U14, U15, and U16 Boys and Girls Teams. My coaching philosophy demands effort with a proven track record of developing technical skills, strategic thinking, and teamwork, revolves around fostering a positive, supportive, and motivating environment, where players feel empowered to push their limits and grow both as athletes and individuals. I believe in instilling a strong work ethic, the value of sportsmanship, and a winning mentality through discipline, perseverance, and respect. With every team, I strive to cultivate skilled and resilient athletes, by guiding my players to reach their full potential, all while building strong connections that last beyond the game.
